The government needs to live within its means like everyone else in this country. This reckless spending by Democrats has to stop.
I say let the sequester happen. It is a scare tactic drawn up by President Obama and his cronies to try to pressure Republicans and other non-conformists to go along with business as usual in Washington, D.C., and the White House. Business as usual translates into raising taxes with no spending cuts and writing a blank check to fix the country's financial problems.
The Republicans are sick of giving in and are now standing their ground. The Republicans have told the president to cut spending instead of raising taxes for a third time. When Obama heard they wanted to cut spending, he flipped out and started to condemn and blame Republicans for the sequester.
Just wait, it gets even more stupid. Then team Obama runs up and down the street screaming, "Government shutdown," "America will be less safe!" and other boy-who-cried-wolf nonsense. Shame on them.
And another fun fact. The whole country doesn't support Obama, so he should stop saying it does. He won with 51 percent of the popular vote. Fifty-one percent sounds more like a half than a whole.
