The City of Edwardsville Parks and Recreation Department has begun registering participants for girls youth softball. Children must currently be in grades Kindergarten through sixth to participate in the program.
Registration fees for the league are $60 per child, and an additional $10 charge for all participants residing outside of the Edwardsville City limits. A T-shirt will be included in the registration fee. Registration is due by March 7 to avoid a $15 late fee. Registration received after March 12 will only be accepted with Recreation Supervisors permission.
The league will begin the week of May 13,.
Registration is also taking place for seventh and eighth grade and high school leagues. Registration for these leagues takes place as entire teams. If you need assistance in finding a team please contact the office at 692-7538.
All leagues will provide an opportunity for the children to learn skills needed to play the sport of softball while making friends and enjoying the outdoors. Parents are encouraged to participate as volunteer coaches.
