The O'Fallon junior high wrestling team has been very successful over the past three years led by coach Rob Stoelzle and assistant coach Greg LeDuc.

The team will compete in the 2013 state wrestling meet that will be held Friday and Saturday at the Convocation Center on the campus of Northern Illinois University in DeKalb. Doors will open at 2:30 p.m. on Friday and at 8:00 a.m. on Saturday.

O'Fallon qualified for state by winning the Illinois Elementary School Association (IESA) Sectional H championship, which is one of eight sectionals in the state.

O'Fallon took first in the 18-team sectional held in Jacksonville on March 2 with 208 points, followed by Cahokia (197 pts), Auburn (117 pts), Quincy (97 pts), and (Joy) Mercer County (92 pts).
