Cahokia-East St. Louis sectional championship game at Mascoutah is a sellout

Mascoutah High School officials said early Thursday afternoon that all 1,800 tickets have been sold for Friday's Class 3A boys basketball sectional championship game between Cahokia and East St. Louis.

The schools sold a combined 1,100 tickets and the remaining 700 tickets were sold at in 1 hour, 15 minutes after going on sale Thursday at Mascoutah High.

Cahokia (30-3) plays East St. Louis (22-7) with the winner advancing to the Springfield Super-Sectional on Tuesday. The Cahokia-East St. Louis game will also be broadcast over the Internet at www.playonsports.com/channels/mascoutah-mascoutah-illinois.
