It is very important to contact your state legislators regarding SB 10 -- the bill which would make same-sex marriage legal in Illinois. Two people of the same gender trying to be husband and wife is against our very nature. When we go against human nature, which is a gift given by almighty God, we open a can or worms and will have to bear the consequences.

Just as killing one's own offspring through the legalization of abortion has brought disastrous results by wounding so many, same-sex marriage would do the same.

Certainly there are people with same-sex attraction, but this is a pastoral problem to be approached with kindness, prayer and counseling. It is not a problem of discrimination.

There are many who are living with this unnatural tendency who do not believe that making same-sex marriage legal is the answer. This I learned by listening to a discussion on the radio recently. It is rather another political ploy of the devil.
