The Swansea Chamber of Commerce is hosting a candidate forum Wednesday.

All nine candidates running for the trustee positions up for grabs in the April 9 election have been invited to participate. The candidates are as follows: Jeffrey King, Matthew Lanter, Brian McGuire, Bill Phillips, Doris Rebenstorff, Scott Ross, Katherine Ruocco, Susan Schultz and Brian Wells. Schultz and Wells are the incumbents.

Schultz and McGuire are both vying for the open two-year trustee position, and the other candidates are all seeking to fill the three four-year trustee seats open.

Trustees Bill Saak and David Thacker are not running for re-election.

The forum will be held from 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at the Thompson Civic Center, located at 1501 Caseyville Ave. in Swansea.
