Pilgrim Temple Christian Methodist Episcopal (C.M.E) Church in East St. Louis will celebrate its 115th anniversary on Sunday with two special services.
The theme for the celebration is "115 Years of Promise, Hope & Praise." The festivities will begin during the church's 11 a.m. worship service. Another service will be held at 3 p.m.
The church is located at 1800 Trendley Ave. It is considered one of the oldest African American churches in the metro-east area.
