In the article in the BND titled, "County wants Allegiant to expand," MidAmerica Director Tim Cantwell states: "... Allegiant fills an average 142 of 166 seats on flights to Orlando, with some flights completely booked."
I'm not a math whiz, but doesn't that mean some Orlando-bound Allegiant flights take off from MidAmerica with as little as 70 percent of their seats filled? I haven't flown out of Lambert lately, but I doubt you'll find many flights departing there with that high a percentage of empty seats.
It doesn't appear that Allegiant has concocted a recipe for passenger service success at MidAmerica quite yet.
