Jim Walters, you are an absolute "real piece of work." It is the arrogant, liberal-minded thinking of people like you, Michael Ray Dillier, Frankie Seaberry and Sandy Boshkoff that has crippled this nation.
After reading Tom Kroupa's last letter I went to the Stookey Township meeting March 4. The attitude from supervisor David Bone toward Tom got under my skin. When he said no, sit there and shut up, that Kroupa can't speak; bottom line with me.
I know for fact that supervisor Bone and trustee James Ellison didn't like what I had to say about his sarcastic treatment of Kroupa, but you know what, I just don't give a damn. Just like the meeting that was at Emge School on the new sewer project.
When I asked supervisor Bone about why the elderly and disabled can't get a break (reduction) on their sewer bills because being on a fixed income was rough, he said he would have the trustees look into it and see if there was a way to do this.
And the only thing that ran through my mind was yea, right, not going to happen with this board of trustees, especially Jimmy Ellison. Residents, come April 9, we need a fresh new board of trustees, and as far as I'm concerned right now, a new supervisor.
Perhaps it is time to bring in the feds and let them investigate Stookey Township and St. Clair County and read Kroupa's last letter.
