We now have to listen to gangster-type rap music over Lindenwood University's loud speakers before sporting events that can be heard several blocks away. Most people agree that type of music can be linked to bad behavior and disrespect to women.

Also, it appears Lindenwood has designs on having Belleville give them some alleys so they can control more of the city.

The trashy-looking gravel parking lots behind the houses on 2200-2400 West Main Street and West A Street bring down property values. The houses previously had nice green yards and gardens; now all there is are low rent gravel backyard parking for dozens of cars and pickup trucks.
