Republic Services and the Village of Shiloh are sponsoring a spring large item clean up. Large items will be picked up on residents' normal trash day during the week of March 18-22.

Items such as furniture, mattress sets, large carpets (cut into manageable bundles no longer than four feet) and other bulky items should be placed at the curb by 7 a.m. and will be picked up at no charge to customers.

Appliances can be set out with large items and will be picked up by Republic's third party vendor, Appliance Recyclers, at no charge. Illinois state law bans electronics from being picked up and disposed of in landfills.
