Belleville East senior and University of Illinois recruit Malcolm Hill headlines a strong group of metro-east area players named to the Illinois Basketball Coaches Association Class 3A-4A All-State Team which was released on Friday.

Hill, along with Edwardsville senior Garret Covington and Cahokia senior Keenan Minor were first team all-state selections.

Named to the second team were Tre' Harris of Edwardsville, Deshawn Munson of East St. Louis and Nick Van Osdale of Belleville West.

Darius Austin of Cahokia was a third-team selection.

Gaining special mention all-state status were Johnny McCray of East St. Louis, Shawn Roundtree of Edwardsville, Darreon Reddick of Belleville East, Vincent Jackson of Cahokia and Falando Wilkinson of Collinsville.
