I-64 crash: Car gets stuck under semi-truck

Emergency personnel responded to a crash involving a car and a semi-truck that occurred at approximately 7:35 p.m. Saturday night on eastbound Interstate 64, just east of Interstate 255.

A car crashed into a semi-truck and was stuck underneath it. It's unclear if anyone was injured.

According to information relayed on the police scanner, the occupants of the car fled the scene of the crash.

Illinois State Police responded to the scene, and a K-9 unit from Brooklyn Police Department was requested to help locate the car's occupants. Both the driver and passenger were located around 8:30 p.m., according to information relayed on the police scanner.
