The First Tee program at Stonewolf Golf Club is designed to introduce young people to different aspects of golf and teach life skills.

The First Tee is open anyone between the ages of 7 and 16. Sessions will be held at 5 or 6:15 p.m. Mondays, beginning April 1, at Stonewolf Golf Club in Fairview Heights. The First Tee provides all the necessary equipment.

Participants pay $45 per 8-week session; scholarships are available. Register through the First Tee website, www.thefirstteestlouis.orgm or return an application to Stonewolf Golf Club.

Parents must attend a Parent Orientation on March 28.

The First Tee Mission is to impact the lives of young people by providing educational programs that build character, instill life-enhancing values and promote healthy choices through the game of golf.

All participants receive The First Tee Card so their progress can be tracked as they advance through The First Tee certification levels of Player, Par, Birdie, Eagle and Ace. Each stage introduces young people to different aspects of golf and life skills.
