I watched the Food Channel program March 13 about the Caseyville Cafe. It's a wonder half the residents of Caseyville were not poisoned or at the very least come down with some unknown stomach disorder.
By necessity I've eaten there a number of times since these two women opened it about three years ago. I had no idea the kitchen was in the terrible shape as shown on the program.
Why did the St. Clair County Health Department allow this restaurant to stay open? And how did the owners ever figure out their federal and state income taxes without receipts to back up their figures?
