A Day of Wellness event will be held Saturday at the East St. Louis School District 189 headquarters.

The health fair, which is being held by the school district and the East Side Health District, will begin at 9 a.m. and last until 1 p.m. at 1005 State St. in East St. Louis.

The event is free and open to the public where participants can be screened for high blood pressure, be provided with diabetes information, gain information about maintaining health cholesterol levels, obtain breast/cervical cancer information, and learn about programs and support services.

Lunch will be available.

The event is funded by a federal Title I grant.
