The Area Agency on Aging of Southwestern Illinois will sponsor public hearings next week to discuss the Area Plan on Aging.
The first hearing will be held at 10 a.m. March 28 at SWIC Programs and Services for Older Persons at 201 N. Church St. in Belleville and the second one will be at 1 p.m. at the Northeastern Randolph County Senior Services at 500 W. Second St. in Sparta.
The hearing will address services available to older adults in the region.
Written comments will be accepted at the Area Agency on Agency at 2365 Country Road in Belleville any week day before 4 p.m. April 4. Documents summarizing the proposed plan are available at the sites and by contacting the agency.
