BELLEVILLE — The following report appeared in the most recently released crime blotter by the Belleville Police Department:

WEDNESDAY

8:10 a.m. TRAFFIC ACCIDENT/OBSTRUCTING - Frank Scott Parkway at Dapron Drive. Officers responded to an accident on Frank Scott Parkway and Dapron Drive. The driver, 32, of one of the vehicles was transported to an area hospital. When officers arrived at the hospital for further investigation, they discovered the driver had fled the hospital on foot.
