A Caseyville retirement community will host a free health fair next month.

Knollwood Retirement Community, located off of South Bluff Road at 921 Knollwood Village Road, has partnered with the Caseyville Mayor's Office, the Gateway Chapter of Links Inc. and AARP to host a Health Fair and Senior Awareness Day on April 8.

The event, which will be held from 9 a.m. to noon, will provide local senior citizens with a variety of health care organizations, doctors, health care advocates and others to help provide the most current information about health and human service needs. Participants will also have a chance to receive health and wellness screenings, medication reviews and information to promote exercise, good nutrition, fraud protection and healthy lifestyles.
