If you have home field advantage, you don't have to travel; you win. But only one team should have a home field advantage, all others should have to travel.
The overall home team must have a record without more than one or two losses all year and ranked number one all season. Otherwise, every team travels to a place minus their fan base. At this year's second and third rounds, besides Louisville, you had Oregon at San Jose (close to home), Michigan and Michigan State playing at Auburn Hills, Kansas and Kansas State playing at Kansas City, just to show the favoritism of the Selection Committee. It needs to change completely to make the total tournament fair for all teams. I almost forgot, no pre-season polls count until the actual season begins.
