For months now, literally, the downtown Belleville Public Library has knowingly been discriminating against men.
Staff members of the library refuse to put paper towels in the men's restroom because somebody once clogged up a toilet. Their solution to this problem is to penalize men by denying them the privilege of drying their hands -- and opening up the filthy and greasy door handles -- with a paper towel.
But oh, women get to have paper towels in their restroom because the dainty ladies have never clogged up their toilet.
I deem this is a sexist policy and it smacks of overt discrimination against men. If an attorney agrees with me, call me (tongue in cheek). I'd be more than happy to sue the library.
It seems if hand towels are a problem, women as well as men should suffer the consequences. Of course, paper towels are not the problem -- but then again, neither are men.
