The temperature will certainly be agreeable for Cardinals fans as the team hosts its home opener Monday at Busch Stadium.
The National Weather Service predicts a high of 77 degrees that should peak around game time at 3:15 p.m.
The big question is whether the rain will stay away to allow the festivities to get under way. There is a 30 percent chance of thunderstorms from noon until about 6 p.m. with the likelihood of wet weather tapering off after that.
Tuesday is expected to be partly sunny with a high of 78 degrees during the day and a 60 percent chance of thunderstorms moving in during the evening. On Wednesday a high of 72 is expected with an 80 percent chance of thunderstorms.
