Madison County Sheriff's Dept. wants help finding bank robbery suspect

— Police are asking for help finding a man who robbed an Alhambra bank Tuesday.

At about 1:43 p.m., a man entered National Bank at 502 East Main St. and displayed a handgun. Police said he demanded cash from an employee, who complied. The man fled southbound from the bank on foot.

No one was injured during the robbery. Police would not say how much money was taken.

The man is described as about six feet tall with a slim build, and was wearing a gray hoodie and white hat with dark pants.

Anyone with information about the robbery is asked to call the Madison County Sheriff's Department at 692-0871 or the anonymous tip line at 296-3000.
