Southwestern Illinois baseball coach Neil Fiala on Saturday won his 750th career game with a 4-3 victory over John A. Logan.
Fiala, 56, is in his 20th season at SWIC and is 750-399.
The Blue Storm was losing 2-0 entering the bottom of the sixth inning in the first game of a doubleheader in Belleville.
But Ryan Simmons singled and Zach Sedlacek reached first on an error. Cody Calvert followed with a three-run homer to put SWIC ahead 3-2.
A home run by John A. Logan's Tanner Scott home run tied the game at 3 in the ninth. With one out in the bottom of the inning, J.B. Arnold was safe on an error and Gabe Hopkins walked. Clayton Meyer followed with an RBI single that gave Fiala his milestone win.
A.J. Crutchfield, of Waterloo, went the distance for SWIC, allowing three runs (earned) on seven hits. He walked none and struck out six.
The Blue Storm lost the nightcap of the doubleheader 5-2.
