Time is running out for people who want to sign up for Belleville's Law Day Run.

Online registration for the run, available at www.lawdayrun.com, will close at 11:59 p.m. Wednesday.

Participants in the event are urged to take advantage of early run packet pick-up. Packets can be retrieved -- and walk-in late registration can be completed from 4-7 p.m. Wednesday, Thursday and Friday at the Belleville Parks & Recreation Department Building at 510 West Main Street.

Registration fees are $12 for kids 13 and under for a 1K fun run; $15 for people 18 and under to run in the 5K; $20 for adults who register early and $27 for adults who register late.

Also, back by popular demand, for the thirrd year race organizers are featuring five unique people participating in the Law Day Run. Each has their own story and favorite starting line song to vote on online at the Law Day Run website.

This year featured personalities are Jan Daker, Jeff Bockhorn, Alan Elfrink, Andria Powell & Dan Trapp.

The Law Day Run starts at 9 a.m. Saturday in downtown Belleville.
