Motorists may miss the sloppy weather on their morning commute, but showers are expected after 9 a.m. and should last throughout the day. Thunderstorms are possible in the afternoon.

The low temperature Tuesday night will dip to 39 degrees. Clearing skies and a high temperature of 55 degrees are expected Wednesday.
