Evidently going green is not on Lindenwood University's agenda. A 2-year-old, 200 feet by 200 feet asphalt parking lot was ripped up and several big, old trees were cut down for a women's dorm.
Why put down a new asphalt parking lot and two years later rip it out? Don't they plan ahead?
Along three blocks of West Main Street and A Street, 22nd Street to 24th Street, three blocks on both sides of the alley, grass and trees and gardens were ripped out and gravel covers entire back yards. Cars are parked helter-skelter and it looks like an unkempt used car lot.
The football stadium is red artificial grass.
