Is that snow? A few flakes may fall on Wednesday

Metro-east residents could see a few snowflakes before 9 a.m. Wednesday as the temperature hovers in the low 30s.

After that the precipitation will turn to spotty rain showers lasting until about 11 a.m., according to the National Weather Service.

Skies will become mostly sunny in the afternoon with a high temperature of 53 degrees.

Mostly clear weather is expected Wednesday night with a low of 36. On Thursday, the forecast calls for sunny skies with a high of 61 degrees.
