Lindenwood-Belleville reveals 2013 schedule

— The Lindenwood-Belleville football team has released their full schedule for the upcoming 2013 season. The Lynx are slated for 10 games total, four at home and six on the road.

This year will mark the second season for the Lynx, who are coming off a 4-6 finish during their inaugural 2012 season.

The Lynx will kick off the 2013 season at home on Aug. 31 against Culver-Stockton University. The 7 p.m. matchup will mark the first game under the lights at Lindenwood Stadium.

LU-Belleville will then travel to Central Methodist University in Fayette, Mo., on Sept. 5, to face the Eagles in a game that will have a 6 p.m. kickoff.

The Lynx are back at home for two-consecutive weeks after returning from Central Methodist, as they host St. Francis University on Sept. 14 at 1 p.m. On Sept. 21, LU-Belleville welcomes NCAA Division II Kentucky Wesleyan College to Lindenwood Stadium for another night game at 6 p.m.

Lindenwood-Belleville is back on the road for a five-game road swing, travelling to Quincy University on Sept. 28, Bethel College on Oct. 12 and University of Arkansas-Monticello on Oct. 19. The Lynx then head to Olivet Nazarene on Oct. 26, take a bye week on Nov.2 and wrap up the road series with a 1 p.m. game at Missouri Southern State University in Joplin, Mo.

The final regular-season game of the year will be played at Lindenwood Stadium on Nov. 19 at 1 p.m. against Haskell University.

The Lynx announced the addition of a JV football team this season, with five games scheduled against Washington University, Greenville College and Millikin University.
