Belleville libraries to close next week for computer, HVAC upgrades

News-DemocratMay 2, 2013

Both Belleville Public Library locations will be closed starting Monday to replace the libraries' computer and heating, ventilation and air conditioning systems.

The library will be closed so the improvements could be made as quickly and safely as possible for library patrons and staff, according to Library Director Leander Spearman.

The libraries at 121 E. Washington St. and 3414 W. Main St. could be closed through May 10.

The work is part of ongoing renovations to the library this year.

Due dates and requested items will be adjusted so that patrons do not incur fees on the items.

For more information, call the library at 618-234-0441 or 618-234-4366.
