Year of Faith Concert -- 7:30 p.m. Friday, Cathedral of St. Peter, 200 W. Harrison St., Belleville. Free. Soprano Christine Westhoff will sing a program of music inspired by the Year of Faith proclaimed by Pope Benedict XVI. Organist Timothy Allen also will perform.

Bluegrass & Country -- 8 p.m.-midnight Saturday, Faye Inn Bar and Grill, 2503 Main Ave., Fayetteville. Music by Highway 15 Traditional Bluegrass and Country Bank featuring Doc Fugate, Kenny Kuhn and Denise Voegel.

Dances

End of School Year Dance -- 6:30-8:30 p.m. Friday, Weinheimer Community Building, 1100 Main St., Highland. Sponsored by the Highland Jaycees. Fourth- and fifth-graders welcome. Free water, soda, popcorn. Admission is $8 per child or $5 per child with an item donated to the Highland Food Pantry. Adult supervision provided, but parents must sign their child in and out.
