The following incidents were listed among the official reports of local law enforcement agencies and court clerks. Readers are reminded that an arrest or charge does not constitute a finding of guilt. Only a court of law can make that determination.

ST. CLAIR COUNTY FELONIES

TUESDAY, MAY 7

Jarod M. Branigan, 31, of 2220 Richland Prairie Road, Millstadt, arrested on suspicion of unlawful delivery of controlled substance within 1,000 feet of a school and three counts of unlawful delivery of a controlled substance on or about May 6 by St. Clair County sheriff. Branigan allegedly, while within 1,000 feet of a school, being Whiteside School, located at 111 Warrior's Way, Belleville, delivered to a confidential source, less than one gram of a substance containing cocaine; knowingly delivered to a confidential source less than one gram of a substance containing cocaine on March 4, 5, and 26.

Patricia K. Hicks, 49, of 63 Hillside Lane, Belleville, arrested on suspicion of three counts of bribery and state benefits fraud between June 1 and Dec. 31, 2010 by Illinois State Police. Hicks allegedly in committing the offense of bribery, received $20 U.S. currency from Tiffany Jefferies, pursuant to an understanding between the defendant and Tiffany Jefferies that the defendant would improperly influence the performance of herself, an employee of the Village of Centreville, in that the defendant would provide a signature of approval of the work hours timesheet for the employment of Tiffany Jefferies with the Put Illinois to Work Program funded in part by the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act, knowing Tiffany Jefferies had not worked all of the hours documented on said timesheet; knowingly misrepresented the number of hours Tiffany Jefferies worked for the Put Illinois to Work Program, funded in part by the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act, to obtain money from the state of Illinois in that she represented to officials that she had worked a certain number of hours for the Put Illinois to Work Program when in fact she had not worked those hours, the total amount of said money and benefits wrongfully obtained not in excess of $300, said offense constituting a series of acts performed at different times in furtherance of a single intention and design.

John Redmond Sr., 43, of 651 N. 53rd St., East St. Louis, arrested on suspicion of two counts of predatory criminal sexual assault and criminal sexual assault, families between Nov. 1, and Nov. 30, 2006 by East St. Louis police. Redmond allegedly committed an act of sexual assault with a female minor, date of birth Dec. 25, 1995; a person who resided in the residence of the victim continuously for over six months, knowingly committed an act of sexual assault with a female minor, date of birth of Dec. 25, 1995.

Ernest E. Cannon, 48, of 702 West Avenue, East St. Louis, arrested on suspicion of driving while driver's license is revoked, subsequent on or about May 7 by St. Clair County sheriff. Cannon allegedly drove a blue 2002 Ford F-150 on Illinois Route 15 in Belleville, at a time when defendan't driver's license was revoked. Defendant had been previously convicted of Driving While License if Revoked on March 18, 2008.

Wayne L. Horner Jr., 58, of 4011 Locust St., Fairmont City, arrested on suspicion of robbery and aggravated battery on or about May 5 by Fairmont City police. Horner allegedly took property, being U.S. currency from the person of George Yost, being over the age of 60, by the use of force; knowingly caused bodily harm to George Yost, a person over the age of 60, in that he struck George Yost with his hands.

Justin T. Ogle, 30, of 9896 County Line Road, Coulterville, arrested on suspicion of domestic battery, subsequent offense on or about May 5 by St. Clair County sheriff. Ogle allegedly made physical contact with Tracey A. Brenning, a family/household member, in that the defendant grabbed Brenning by the arm with his hands. Defendant had previously been convicted of Domestic Battery on July 15, 2011.

Nicholas D. Lutker, 25, of 213 Kroeger Ave., Dupo, arrested on suspicion of false report of offense on or about April 14 by Lebanon police. Lutker allegedly transmitted to a peace officer, being Kurt Schmulbach with the Lebanon Illinois Police Department, a report to the effect that an offense has been committed, stating that the defendant had been stabbed by another individual, and that at the time the report was transmitted, the defendant knew there were no reasonable grounds for believing that the offense had been committed.

Tremont T. Calloway Jr., 23, of 4909 Tudor Ave., Centreville, arrested on suspicion of aggravated unlawful use of a weapon on or about Feb. 10 by East St. Louis police. Calloway allegedly carried on his person a .40 caliber handgun at a time when he was not on his own land, or in his own abode, or fixed place of business, uncased, loaded and accessible. Defendant had not been issued a current valid FOID Card.

George R. Dozier, 26, of 1121 N. 13th St., East St. Louis, arrested on suspicion of criminal damage to government property on or about April 20 by East St. Louis police. Dozier allegedly damaged without the consent of the East St. Louis Housing Authority, the back door of the apartment located at 1121 N. 13th St., East St. Louis, which property is supported in part with East St. Louis funds, said damage not in excess of $500.

Victor Tillman, 28, of 1473 St. Louis Ave., East St. Louis, arrested on suspicion of aggravated unlawful use of a weapon on or about May 6 by East St. Louis police. Tillman allegedly carried in a vehicle a .22 caliber revolver at a time when he was not on his own land, or in his own abode, or fixed place of business, uncased, loaded and accessible. Defendant had been previously convicted of Unlawful Delivery of a Controlled Substance on July 9, 2003.

WEDNESDAY, MAY 8

Michael T. Brady, 38, of 105 Philecia Drive, Swansea, arrested on suspicion of burglary on or about March 6 by O'Fallon police. Brady allegedly entered a motor vehicle, a red 2006 Honda Accord of Tyler Fleshren, located at 590 Hartman Lane, O'Fallon, wit the intent to commit theft therein.

John P. Shellenberg, 42, of 1720 Hocker Lane, Collinsville, arrested on suspicion of aggravated driving under the influence on or about June 15, 2012, by O'Fallon police. Shellenberg allegedly drove a black 1999 Dodge Ram on Winding Creek Court in O'Fallon, while the defendant was under the influence of alcohol Defendant had bee previously convicted of Driving While Under the Influence of Alcohol on Sept. 17, 1995.

Jeffrey P. Arning, 32, of 1217 W. McCord, Centralia, arrested on suspicion of possession of a controlled substance and possession of cannabais on or about June 30, 2012 by Fairview Heights police. Arning allegedly had in his possession one tablet of a substance containing Alprazolam and had in his possession less than 2.5 rams of a substance containing cannabis.

Arbree L. Hudson, 23, of 217 Freedom Drive, Apt. Q, Belleville, arrested on suspicion of aggravated battery with a deadly weapon on or about May 7 by Belleville police. Hudson allegedly, by use of a deadly weapon, a knife, knowingly caused bodily harm to Eric F. Stewart, in that he stabbed him in the body.

Corey C. Hoffman, 19, of 4206 Oak St., Belleville, arrested on suspicion of three counts of domestic battery, subsequent on or about April 15 by Belleville police. Hoffman allegedly made physical contact with a male minor, J.M., with a date of July 29, 2004, a family/household member, in that he shoved, punched and kicked the male minor. The defendant had been previously convicted of Domestic Battery on Aug. 2, 2012.

Degshan S. Alexander, 18, of 1421 Suttle Court, Cahokia, arrested on suspicion of residential burglary on or about April 19 by Cahokia police. Alexander allegedly entered into the dwelling place of Theresa Hull, located at 17 Fox Meadow, Cahokia, with the intent to commit theft therein.

Shane M. Osborne, 21, of 850 W. McCallister Apt. A, Lebanon, arrested on suspicion of unlawful possession of a controlled substance on or about May 7 by Fairview Heights police. Osborne allegedly had in his possession less than 15 grams of a substance containing heroin.

Carl R. Eye, 41, of 4328 Knab Road, Smithton, arrested on suspicion of aggravated driving under the influence and driving while drivers license is revoked, subsequent on or about May 7 by Smithton police. Eye allegedly drove a white 1999 Ford Expedition on Knab Road in Smithton, while the defendant was under the influence of alcohol and during a period in which the defendant's driving privileges were revoked. The defendant had been previously convicted of Driving While License is Revoked on Nov. 6, 2009.

THURSDAY, MAY 9

Jerry D. Roth, 56, of Fairview Heights, arrested on suspicion of two counts of official misconduct between May 14 and June 30, 2010 by Illinois State Police. Roth allegedly, a public employee, the chief of the police department for the village of Caseyville, while acting in his official capacity, with the intent to obtain a personal advantage for himself, performed an act in excess of his lawful authority, in that the defendant received directly benefits through contracts involved a gray 2003 Dodge Ram; defendant allegedly took luggage purchased with funds of the village of Caseyville and used the luggage for his own personal use.

Roman C. Shaw, 43, of 469 Collinsville Ave., East St. Louis, arrested on suspicion of two counts of aggravated battery on or about Feb. 11 by East St. Louis police. Shaw allegedly, in committing a battery, and by the use of a deadly weapon, knowingly caused great bodily harm to Kerry Ridley, in that he struck Kerry Ridley about the head, arm, hand and back with a stick, tree branch, or similar blunt object.

Michael A. Johnson, 24, of 1003 Michigan Ave., Edwardsville, arrested on suspicion of aggravated fleeing and attempting to elude a police officer on or about April 21 by Centreville police. Johnson allegedly, while operating a motor vehicle, a gray Pontiac with Iowa license, was given a visual signal by a police officer, Lt. Jerry Daivs, who was in police uniform and driving a vehicle which displayed illuminated, oscillating, rotating or flashing red or blue lights which when used in conjunction with an audible horn or siren would indicate the vehicle to be an official police vehicle, directing the defendant to bring said gray Pontiac to a stop, willfully fled or attempted to elude the police officer and than when willfully fleeing or attempting to elude the police officer, the defendant disobeyed two or more official traffic control devices, being stop signs.

Imani I. Shakoor, 21, of 269 Catherine Drive, Columbia, Mo., arrested on suspicion of robbery on or about May 7 by St. Clair County sheriff. Shakoor allegedly took property, being a white iPhone, from the person of Jennifer Dohm, by the use of force.

William H. Coleman, 54, of 902 Joliet Drive, Cahokia, arrested on suspicion of retail theft on or about May 8 by Cahokia police. Coleman allegedly took merchandise from Walmart, 1511 Camp Jackson Road, Cahokia, being beer, car batteries, socks and other merchandise, total retail value not in excess of $300.

Dawn J. Johnson, 36, of 10960 Fallowfield Drive, Lebanon, arrested on suspicion of four counts of theft on or about Sept. 5, 2012 by Belleville police. Johnson allegedly took property of Marie Diekemper, being U.S. currency, total value in excess of $500; knowingly too property of Rita Fischer, being U.S.. currency, total value in excess of $500.

Ronald H. Dahl, 51, of Caseyville, arrested on suspicion of battery by St. Clair County sheriff.

Jarod M. Branigan, 31, of Millstadt, arrested on suspicion of delivery or possession with intent by St. Clair County sheriff.

Johnny A. Thornton, 26, of Cahokia, arrested on suspicion of operating an uninsured motor vehicle and suspended or revoked driver's license by Cahokia police.

Andrea M. Nelson, 31, of Cahokia, arrested on suspicion of aggravated battery by Cahokia police.
