The following report appeared in the most recently released crime blotter by the Belleville Police Department:
8:19 a.m. AGGRAVATED BATTERY/BATTERY - Belleville West High School, 4063 Frank Scott Parkway. A male student/suspect, 18, was arrested for aggravated battery to a teacher and battery to a student. He was taken into custody. Damaggio A. Fluker, of 7215 West A St. in Belleville, was charged with aggravated battery (school teacher), a class 3 felony. His bail was set at $50,000.
6:43 p.m. JUVENILE DISTURBANCE/IMPROPER SUPERVISION - 100 block of N. 82nd Street. Three juveniles, three 14-year-old males, created a disturbance in the roadway, they were taken into custody. Their respective parents, Timothy Moore, 52, Lekeisha Thomas, 34, and Sharon Cooperwood, 34, were issued citations for improper supervision of children.
7:20 p.m. ASSAULT/RESISTING A PEACE OFFICER/DISORDERLY CONDUCT/ AGGRAVATED BATTERY TO A POLICE OFFICER - Public School Picnic at Hough Park, 417 N. 3rd St. A 17-year-old juvenile female was arrested for assault, resisting, disorderly conduct and aggravated battery to a police officer. She was taken into custody. Suleika A. Torres, of 913 S. Charles St. in Belleville, was charged with aggravated battery (peace officer), a class 2 felony. Her bail was set at $25,000.
