What abortion says about us as a society

May 18, 2013

A letter from Sindy Kubitschek regarding being kind to the environment and animals used a quote by Ghandi, "You can tell a lot about a country by the way it treats its animals." She poses the question, "So, if we as a society treat our animals both wild and domesticated the way we do....what does that say about us?"

I would like to change Ghandi's quote to, "You can tell a lot about a society by the way it treats its unborn babies in the womb." What does that tell us about our society?

How can we be so shocked by all the violence in this country when this country allows legalized killing of babies. If innocent babies lives aren't worthy of saving, how do you say anyone else's life is of worth?

It's time our communities use our resources to help young women in this difficult situation to raise her child or give up for adoption instead of ending a life. Pray for all in these situations.
