The following incidents were listed among the official reports of local law enforcement agencies and court clerks. Readers are reminded that an arrest or charge does not constitute a finding of guilt. Only a court of law can make that determination.

ST. CLAIR COUNTY FELONIES

FRIDAY, MAY 17

Pamela V. Lane, 48, of 3440 Jerome Lane, Cahokia, arrested on suspicion of retail theft on or about May 16 by Fairview Heights police. Lane allegedly took merchandise from J.C. Penney, 245 St. Clair Square, Fairview Heights, bieng three pairs of jeans and four shirts, total retail value not in excess of $300. Defendant had been previously convicted of retail theft on Sept. 6.

Anthony T. Graham, 35, of 200 S. Tenth St., Belleville, arrested on suspicion of unlawful restraint and criminial sexual abuse by force on or about May 15 by Belleville police. Graham allegedly, without legal authority, detained a female, in that he forceably prevented the victim from entering her house, by grabbing her by the arm and committed an act of sexual abuse with the victim.

Timothy L. Allen, 31, of 1252 N. 49th St., Washington Park, arrested on suspicion of aggravated vehicle hijacking with a firearm and aggravated fleeing from police on or about May 15 by Belleville police. Allen allegedly, while carrying a firearm on his person, knowingly took a motor vehicle, a 1996 Nissan Mexima, from Elge Benton by threatening the imminent use of force; and while operating a motor vehicle, a 1996 Nissan Maxima, was given a visual sign by a police officer, Officer Sheary, who was in police uniform and driving a vehicle which displayed illuminated, oscillating, rotating or flashing red or blue lights, which when used in conjunction with an audible horn or siren would indicate the vehicle to be an official police vehicle, directing the defendant to bring said 1996 Nissan Maxima to a stop, willfully fled or attempted to elude the police officer and than when willfully fleeing or attempting to elude the police officer, the defendant traveled at a rate of speed of 21 mph over the legal speed limit.

Jeremy D. Hentges, of 2901 West Blvd. 6, Belleville, arrested on suspicion of residential burglary on May 12 by St. Clair County sheriff. Hentges allegedly entered into the dwelling place of Roy Deshazer, 2 Lashley Estates, Belleville, with the intent to commit theft.

Lesean L. Anderson, 22, of 130 Lauren Circle B, Belleville, arrested on suspicion of unlawful possession of cannabis on or about May 15 by St. Clair County sheriff. Anderson allegedly had in his possession more than 30 but less than 500 grams of a substance containing cannabis.

Elton W. Jackson, 56, of 4500 W. Washington St., Apt. 10A, Belleville, arrested on suspicion of three counts of unlawful delivery of a controlled substance on or about May 7 by St. Clair County sheriff. Jackson allegedly delivered to a confidential source less than 1 gram of a substance containing heroin.

Paul J. McNicol, 21, of 59 W. Green A, Mascoutah, arrested on suspicion of aggravated ciminal sexual abuse, criminal sexual abuse, and five counts of criminal sexual assault between Oct. 1 and Feb. 1 by Mascoutah police. McNicol allegedly committed an act of sexual abuse with a female, date of birth Sept. 16, 1998; commited an act of sexual abuse with a female, date of birth Dec. 21, 1996; five counts of criminal sexual assault with a female date of birth Dec. 21, 1996.

Anthony J. Lepes, 56, of Millstadt, arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence and traffic violation by St. Clair County sheriff.

Curtis L. Jordan, 24, of East St. Louis, warrant arrest by Fairview Heights police.

Camiyha L. Tally, 21, of Lebanon, arrested on suspicion of aggravated assault by Lebanon police.

Jeffrey A. Roberts, 24,of Collinsville, arrested on suspicion of suspended or revoked driver's license and warrant arrest by St. Clair County sheriff.

Dorian D. Harris, 26, of Cahokia, arrested on suspicion of unlawful use of a weapon, possession of a controlled substance, and multiple warrant arrest by Cahokia police.

Dougford G. Butler, 29, of Belleville, arrested on suspicion of home invasion and possession of a controlled substance by Belleville police.

Governor Quinn, 33, of East St. Louis, arrested on suspicion of criminal trespass to land by East St. Louis police.

Amber N. Williams, 20, of Belleville, arrested on suspicion of criminal trespass to land and traffic violation by O'Fallon police.

Derek R. Reeves, 33, of Belleville, arrested on suspicion of traffic violation and warrant arrest by St. Clair County sheriff.

Kurt R. Turner, 23, of Collinsville, arrested on suspicion of no registration, operating uninsured motor vehicle and suspended or revoked driver's license by St. Clair County sheriff.

Roderick O. Thomas, 55, of East St. Louis, arrested on suspicion of traffic violation by Marissa police.

Keith V. Love, 55, of Cahokia, multiple warrant arrest by Marissa police.

Brian D. Watson, 20, of Belleville, warrant arrest by Belleville police.

James R. Swyers, 47, of St. Louis, arrested on suspicion of two counts of driving under the influence and illegal transportaiton of alcohol by New Athens police.

MADISON COUNTY SHERIFF

Monday, May 20

Daniel J. Murphy, 18, of Granite City, was charged with burglary. Murphy allegedly was caught at 12:14 a.m. Sunday inside of an outbuilding on a property in the MGM Lakeside Campground in Granite City. Police determined Murphy entered the outbuilding without permission and with the intent of committing a theft. Murphy was arrested and transported to Madison County Jail in lieu of $50,000.
