Cooler -- but drier -- weather expected

The weather in the metro-east should be drier but cooler over the next few days.

There is a 30 percent chance of isolated showers and spot thunderstorms Wednesday, according to the National Weather Service. The most likely time for rain is expected to be after 1 p.m.

The high temperature is expected to be 77 degrees Wednesday with an overnight low of 56.

On Thursday skies are expected to be partly cloudy with a high of 71 degrees. Sunny weather and a high of 72 is predicted for Friday.
