Police are looking for the occupants of a dark-colored pick-up truck which was used early Thursday in a smash and grab robbery at a Cahokia gas station.

The robbery happened at about 3:45 a.m. at the Midwest Petroleum Phillips 66 gas station and convenience store at Camp Jackson Road and Jerome Lane, according to police reports.

The store was closed at the time of the robbery but witnesses reportedly saw the truck speeding from the scene.

Police as of early Thursday had not yet revealed what was found on video surveillance footage taken by the store's security cameras. There is no word on what was taken and a description of the suspects has not yet been released.
