An eye-opening special day

May 23, 2013

My grandson, Zachary Landry, recently got to be chief of police for the day at the Belleville Police Department.

It was a wonderful day and it was made so special by Chief Clay's administrative staff. Everyone we met was very friendly and answered all of our questions.

I would like to thank the entire Police Department for welcoming us and showing us the duties they perform. It was very apparent that they all serve with passion and dedication. I would especially like to thank Chief William Clay. He is an intelligent, compassionate man who leads the department with a steady hand.

I think everyone in Belleville can rest assured that the police officers who serve and protect the city are the best.
