Let's limit letters

May 23, 2013

What is the deal ? Why are the perennially incessant letter writers repeating the news stories of the day as if no one else would know anything about it if they did not? This is not news, and the points of outrage are not opinions, just complaints.

How many times do they write to be published so often? I'm really tired of these people acting as if they are a news organization that we cannot do without. They offer no counte point and no solution, just slang-based epithets.

Please gentlemen, consider retirement again. Perhaps the paper should publish one author only once per month, and that would include me.
