The O'Fallon Police Department continued Saturday to investigate two credit union employees who were robbed while loading an ATM.

Police received a call at 12:09 p.m. Friday reporting that two Scott Credit Union employees were robbed at the ATM on the west side of the business, located at 712 West Highway 50. The employees were loading cash into the ATM, when a suspect came from behind them and forcibly took money, according to Captain Mark Berry.

The suspect was described as a white male who was wearing a black hoodie and flesh colored mask. The suspect implied that he had a weapon, although no weapon was displayed. The suspect ran north toward Eagle Ridge apartments and business park, Berry stated in a news release.

A police officer and K-9 found no trace of the suspect.

The employees were not injured.

Anyone with information about the robbery is asked to call the O'Fallon Police Department at 618-624-4545.
