FRIDAY, MAY 24

9:45 a.m. Violation of an order of protection -- 2100 block of East B St. The victim reported his children, the protected parties, were in the presence of the suspect in violation of an active order of protection.

12:52 p.m. Domestic battery -- 100 block of East Adams. The victim reported her boyfriend/suspect battered her.

1:21 p.m. Burglary -- 300 block of South 13th Street. The victim reported forced entry was made and copper pipes were stolen.

2:05 p.m. Theft -- Walmart, 2601 Green Mount Commons. The victim reported leaving her purse in the shopping cart after she left the parking lot. When she returned her purse was gone.

4:07 p.m. Theft -- Kings Food, 12 N. 35th St. The business owner reported copper wire was stolen from the property.

5:38 p.m. Retail theft -- Schnucks, 200 Carlyle. Dartavis Young, 23, Brenden Ellerbrock, 28, and Quentin Jenkins, 21, were arrested for retail theft and taken into custody.

5:50 p.m. Traffic stop, possession of cannabis -- First block of South 3rd Street. Keith Holmes, 24, and Ricky Walker, 24, were arrested for possession of cannabis and taken into custody.

8:46 p.m. Traffic stop, possession of cannabis -- Foley at Millie. Jermaine Williams, 41, was arrested for possession of cannabis and taken into custody.

11:25 p.m. Drunkenness -- Executive Inn, 1234 Centerville Ave. Thomas Pilington, 31, was arrested for drunkenness and taken into custody.

SATURDAY, MAY 25

6:41 a.m. Theft -- 700 block of George Street. The victim reported property was stolen from his residence.

12:58 p.m. Retail theft -- Shop N Save, 5720 N. Belt West. The store manager reported two black males and one white female stole merchandise.

1:23 p.m. Forgery -- Phillips 66, 1200 Royal Heights Road. Two subjects were arrested for forgery and taken into custody.

7 p.m. Attempted burglary -- 1300 block of West Main Street. The victim reported unknown person(s) attempted to force entry to his residence.

8:46 p.m. Misrepresentation of services -- 1800 block of McClintock. The victim reported signing a contract with a company that fraudulently stated they worked for her home security system company.

SUNDAY, MAY 26

12:26 a.m. Criminal damage to property -- 4100 block of North Park Drive. The victim reported his vehicle was damaged by the suspect.

3:51 a.m. Accident, driving under the influence -- 100 block of East Monroe. Kymber Saylor was arrested for driving under the influence and was taken into custody.

9:50 a.m. Theft of mislaid property --Dollar Tree, 2 Bellevue Park Plaza. The victim reported she left her cell phone in a shopping cart. When she returned the phone was gone.

12 p.m. Burglary to vehicle -- 200 block of North 45th Street. The victim reported entry was made to his vehicle and property was stolen.

3:45 p.m. Burglary to vehicle -- 700 block of South Belt West. The victim reported entry was forced to her vehicle and property was stolen.

7:46 p.m. Domestic battery -- 2700 block of Godfrey. The suspect was arrested for domestic battery and taken into custody.

8:35 p.m. Burglary to vehicle -- Dinges Auto Sales, 820 S. Illinois. A suspect was arrested for burglary to vehicle and taken into custody.

MONDAY, MAY 27

12:11 a.m. Attempted burglary to business -- Hayes Top Style Clothes, 9505 W. Main St. Two subjects were located as possible suspects in an attempted burglary. One subject, who attempted to gain entry to the business, was taken into custody.

1:45 a.m. Traffic stop, driving under the influence, possession of cannabis -- First block of East Main Street. The driver, Jeffery Koehler, 26, was arrested for driving under the influence and taken into custody. A passenger, Miquel Luna, 24, was arrested for possession of cannabis and taken into custody.

2:03 a.m. Arrest of aggravated battery fugitive -- 300 block of West H Street. A suspect, wanted by Swansea Police Department, for an aggravated battery, was located and arrested by Belleville officers. Swansea officers arrived on scene and took custody of the suspect.

8:37 a.m. Residential burglary -- 1800 block of East A Street. The victim reported property stolen from an attached garage.

6:05 p.m. Robbery -- 200 block of North Charles Street. The victim reported being robbed by a black male who grabbed her backpack as she left the Metro Link Station.

TUESDAY, MAY 28

5:50 a.m. Burglary to vehicle -- 800 block of East McKinley. The suspect was arrested for burglary to vehicle and taken into custody.

8 a.m. Burglary to vehicle -- 700 block of George Street. The victim reported her unlocked vehicle was entered and rummaged through.

10:27 a.m. Burglary to vehicle -- 300 block of West H Street. The victim reported property was stolen from his vehicle and suspects an acquaintance is responsible.

2:39 p.m. Burglary to vehicle -- 400 block of Park Avenue. Property was reported stolen from the vehicle. A suspect had already been taken into custody.

7:39 p.m. Domestic battery -- First block of South 76th Street. The suspect was arrested for domestic battery and taken into custody.

8:56 p.m. Disorderly conduct -- 4200 block of Oak Lane. Corey C. Hoffman, 19, was arrested for disorderly conduct and taken into custody.

ST. CLAIR COUNTY FELONIES

THURSDAY, MAY 30

Deondre C. Powell, 19, of 5009 Forest Blvd., Washington Park, arrested on suspicion of armed violence on or about May 23 by Washington Park police. Powell allegedly while armed with a dangerous weapon, a knife, performed acts prohibited, in that said defendant repeatedly stabbed Deasha L. Brown, a family/household member, about the neck and body, causing great bodily harm.

Michael D. Moore, 31, of 1730 Parkland Drive, Cahokia, arrested on suspicion of aggravated domestic battery on or about May 27 by Swansea police. Moore allegedly in committing a domestic battery, knowingly caused great bodily harm to Danielle T. Bolden, a family/household member, in that the said defendant stabbed Danielle T. Bolden in the stomach with a knife.

Mark S. Voorhis, 49, of 1819 Crestview, O'Fallon, arrested on suspicion of aggravated driving under the influence and driving on a suspended license on or about May 10 by O'Fallon police. Voorhis allegedly drove a maroon 2007 Chrysler PT Cruiser on West Highway 50 in O'Fallon, while the defendant was under the influence of alcohol and during a period in which the defendant's driving privileges were suspended.

Michael J. Plantz, 41, of 721 Brittany 1, Waterloo, arrested on suspicion of retail theft on or about May 8 by O'Fallon police. Plantz allegedly took merchandise from Walmart, 1530 West Highway 50, O'Fallon, being an Emerson brand TV, total retail value in excess of $300.

Nathan K. Taylor, 47, of 2703 Keokuk, St. Louis, arrested on suspicion of retail theft on or about May 7 by O'Fallon police. Taylor allegedly falsely represented to The Home Depot, 1706 West Highway 50, O'Fallon, a merchant, that the defendant was the lawful owner of the sump pump, roof top safety kit and bucket of roof coating, retail value in excess of $300 and conveyed those items to Home Depot, who in fact was the lawful owner of such items, in exchange for $332.18 in store credit refund.

Kevin Bradley, 17, of 1739 Ohio St., East St. Louis, arrested on suspicion of robbery on or about May 28 by St. Clair County sheriff. Bradley allegedly took property, being an Apple brand iPhone, from the person of Jasmine White, by the use of force.

Kaitlyn S. Berthot, 19, of 1511 E. B St., Belleville, arrested on suspicion of three counts of burglary between May 22 and May 23 by the Belleville police. Berthot allegedly entered a motor vehicle, a green 2008 Chevrolet SUV, of Karen Baldwin, located at 15 N. Michigan, Belleville, with the intent to commit theft therein; entered a motor vehicle, a silver 2008 Honda of Emily Joost, located at 417 Park Ave., Belleville, with the intent to commit theft therein and entered a motor vehicle, a green 2000 Chevrolet Cavalier, of Katelyn Denton, located at 806 E. McKinley, Belleville, with the intent to commit theft therein.

Joseph T. Kernan, 22, of 1006 Warwick Place, Swansea, arrested on suspicion of two counts of aggravated battery on or about May 28 by O'Fallon police. Kernan allegedly in committing battery, knowingly made physical contact with Carl Walker, in that he kicked Carl Walker in the leg with his foot knowing Carl Walker to be a peace officer engaged in the performance of his authorized duties; in committing a battery, and while Nick Covert was on the property of the Hot Shots Sports Bar, located at 1319 Central Park Drive in O'Fallon, a public place, knowingly caused bodily harm to Nick Covert, in that he struck him in the face with his hands.

Randy L. Miller, 48, of 8641 Haas Lane, New Athens, arrested on suspicion of possession of a firearm when FOID Card is revoked, aggravated cruelty to animals, two counts of domestic battery on or about May 27 by St. Clair County sheriff. Miller allegedly possessed a .22 caliber firearm, at a time when the Firearm Owner's Identification Carl previously issued in his name by the Department of the State Police under the provisions of the FOID Card Act was revoked; intentionally committed an act that caused companion's animals, being two dogs to suffer death by shooting the digs with a firearm; made physical contact with Mary Wittenauer, a family/household member, in that he struck her in the leg with a crowbar; knowingly made physical contact with Mary Wittenauer, a family/household member, in that he struck her in the head with a hammer.

Albert Benford Jr., 50, 543 Gray Ave., East St. Louis, arrested on suspicion of burglary on or about May 23 by Cahokia police. Benford allegedly entered a building of Midwest Petroleum, located at 2001 Camp Jackson Road, Cahokia, with the intent to commit theft therein.

Mario E. Dace, 41, of 8709 Village Place, East St. Louis, arrested on suspicion of retail theft, subsequent and resisting a police officer on or about May 28 by Cahokia police. Dace allegedly took merchandise from Walmart, 1511 Camp Jackson Road, Cahokia, being one Huffy brand bicycle, retail value not in excess of $300; knowingly resisted the performance of Kyle Waddington of an authorized act within his official capacity, being the arrest of Mario Dace, knowing Waddington to be a peace officer engaged in the execution of his official duties, in that he threw a bicycle and a pair of wire cutters at Kyle Waddington. Defendant had been previously convicted of Retail Theft on July 20, 2004.

Detray D. Westbrook, 17, of 4735 Piggott Ave., Centreville, arrested on suspicion of residential burglary on or about May 23 by Centreville police. Westbrook allegedly entered into the dwelling place of Corey Higgins, located at 609 S. 42nd St., Centreville, with the intent to commit theft therein.

Renaldo O. Wills, 17, of 4335 Baker Ave., Alorton, arrested on suspicion of theft on or about May 23 by Centreville police. Wills allegedly obtained property of Corey Higgins, being a 57 inch TV, total value in excess of $500 under such circumstances as would reasonably induce said defendant to believe the property was stolen and with the intent to deprive Corey Higgins of his property.

Carvon S. Jones, 35, of 621 N. 41st St., East St. Louis, arrested on suspicion of aggravated unlawful use of a weapon on or about May 19 by East St. Louis police. Jones allegedly carried on or about his person a handgun at a time when he was not on his own land, or in his own abode, or fixed place of business, uncased, loaded and accessible. Defendant had been previously convicted of Unlawful Possession with Intent to Deliver a Controlled Substance.

Sharrefe Simmons, 42, of 4221 Tuxedo, Detroit, Mich., arrested on suspicion of burglary and criminal damage to government supported property on or about May 29 by East St. Louis police. Simmons allegedly entered a building, the Starnes Building of the East St. Louis Housing Authority, located at 2904 Waverly Ave., East St. Louis, with the intent to commit theft therein; knowingly damaged, without the consent of the City of East St. Louis, the Starnes Building of the East St. Louis Housing Authority, located at 2904 Waverly Ave., East St. Louis, which property is supported in part with City of East St. Louis funds, said damage not in excess of $500.

Leslie N. Tharp, 24, of 5942 Douglas Road, Smithton, arrested on suspicion of unlawful possession of a controlled substance on or about May 29 by St. Clair County Sheriff. Tharp allegedly had in her possession less than 15 grams of a substance containing heroin.

Randy L. Miller, 48, of 8641 Haas Lane, New Athens, charged with possession of firearm while void, aggravated cruelty to animals and two counts of domestic battery on May 27 by St. Clair County Sheriff.
