Keep clippings out of streets

June 11, 2013

Now that spring is here and the grass is up and getting cut, is it too much to ask all the grass junkies to turn their mower so the grass clippings do not come out on the street? Their jobs are to make the lawns look attractive, but too many private and commercial cutters blow it into the street and leave it there, clogging drains and dirtying cars that use the road.

Please turn your mower the direction it doesn't blow into the street; use a blower or a broom and do a good job with the lawns. Maybe they should follow the examples of some of the better lawn trimmers who create better appearances.
