BELLEVILLE POLICE

MONDAY, JUNE 3

6:19 a.m. Child neglect -- 3900 block of West Main Street. Two 4-year-old children were located walking down West Main Street, unsupervised. The parent was locted and DCFS was notified.

12:18 p.m. Burglary to vehicle -- Lowes, 5501 Belleville Crossing. The victim reported property was stolen while his vehicle was parked in the parking lot.

12:22 p.m. Attempted residential burglary -- 1000 block of North Church Street. The victim reported a window screen had been damaged in an attempt to gain entry to the residence.

1:50 p.m. Dumpster fire -- 225 Freedom Drive. The maintenance man from Freedom Drive discovered a dumpster fire. Fire Department called to scene.

3:23 p.m. Battery -- 400 block of North Illinois Street. The victim reported the suspect battered her. The victim signed a nontraffic citation for the battery.

3:28 p.m. Retail theft --K-Mart, 7230 Westfield Plaza. Donald Milligan, 48, was arrested for retail theft and taken into custody.

6:55 p.m. Burglary to shed -- 100 block of South 79th Street. The victim reported property was stolen from his shed.

6:58 p.m. Domestic battery -- 100 block of Hillwood. The victim reported her boyfriend/suspect allegedly battered her.

8:49 p.m. Disturbance, driving under the influence, unlawful use of a weapon -- Dewey at Orchard. Zachary A. Miller, 23, was arrested for driving under the influence and unlawful use of a weapon and taken into custody.

8:54 p.m. Criminal damage to property -- 8100 block of West Main Street. The victim reported his vehicle was damaged after being struck by rocks thrown by juveniles.

10:13 p.m. 911 hang up, domestic battery -- 300 block of Limerick. The suspect was arrested after battering his girlfriend/victim. He was taken into custody.

TUESDAY, JUNE 4

11:46 a.m. Burglary to vehicle -- West Main Cafe, 1601 W. Main St. Employees of the cafe reported observing a male inside employee vehicles.

12:18 p.m. Robbery -- Sixth and West Main streets. The victim reported being battered by and having property stolen by the suspect. The suspect was arrested and taken into custody.

3:23 p.m. Residential burglary -- 400 block of East A Street. The victim reported property was stolen from his residence.

5:30 p.m. Theft -- First block of Lakeshore Drive. The victim reported scrap metal was stolen from his carport.

6 p.m. Fight, battery --North Fifth and West I streets. The reporting party and her daughter/victim stated she was battered earlier by the suspect and three other juveniles.

8:38 p.m. Domestic battery, aggravated assault -- 100 block of North Pennsylvania. The victim reported his ex-girlfriend/suspect damaged his vehicle and allegedly battered him. The suspect fled in a vehicle, nearly striking the victim's mother.

11:09 p.m. Burglary to business -- Taco Bell, 4 South Belt West. Employees reported the suspect took U.S. currency from a cash register through the drive-thru window.

11:27 p.m. Traffic stop, aggravated fleeing and eluding -- Arthur at Lebanon Avenue. Officers attempted to stop a vehicle for running a stop sign at Douglas and Lebanon Avenue. The vehicle refused to stop and exceeded to speeds of 70 mph in a 25 mph zone. The vehicle ran another stop sign at Hecker and then struck a street sign at Arthur before coming to a stop. A male driver fled on foot and was later identified.

WEDNESDAY, JUNE 5

9:15 a.m. Theft -- 7000 block of West Main Street. The victim reported property was stolen from his residence.

12 p.m. Criminal damage to property -- Eye Care of Illinois, 5308 W. Main St. The front door of the business was damaged.

12:05 p.m. Theft -- McDonald's, 4422 W. Main St. Leonardo Reyes-Linares, 36, was arrested for theft and taken into custody.

1:15 p.m. Retail theft -- Bens Craft, 112 E. Main St. The suspect was arrested for retail theft and taken into custody.

2:13 p.m. Burglary to shed -- 9300 block of Carbon. The victim reported property stolen from her shed.

9:15 p.m. Retail theft -- Walmart, 2601 Green Mount Commons. A juveinile was arrested for retail theft and taken into custody.

10:36 p.m. Disorderly conduct -- 100 block of North 45th Street. Jacquline Mayer, 42, was arrested for disorderly conduct.

11:28 p.m. Counterfeit currency -- Pizza Hut, 652 Carlyle. A delivery driver received three counterfeit $20 bills as payment for an order.

11:49 p.m. Theft -- 100 block of Arapaho. The victim reported U.S. currency was stolen from her purse.

11:50 p.m. Criminal damage to property -- 100 block of South Eighth Street. The victim reported the rear tire on her vehicle was slashed.

THURSDAY, JUNE 6

12:21 a.m. Retail theft -- BP Amoco, South 74th Street. Employees reported a male stole merchandise then fled the store.

1:07 a.m. Criminal damage to property -- 2100 block of East Belle. The victim reported a front window to her residence was shattered when an object was thrown through the window.

4:37 a.m. Counterfeit currency -- Jack in the Box, 500 S. Illinois. Employees reported two subjects attempted to pay for an order with a counterfeit $20 bill.

4:38 a.m. Aggravated battery -- St. Elizabeth's Hospital, 211 S. Third St. An RN/victim reported the suspect spit on her numerous times. The victim signed a nontraffic citation for aggravated battery.

9:44 a.m. Motor vehicle theft -- 200 block of Freedom Drive. The victim reported his 2005 Chevy Malibu was stolen.

11:55 a.m. Traffic stop, possession of a controlled substance -- Foley at South 74th Street. The occupants were arrested for possession of a controlled substance and taken into custody.

2:06 p.m. Attempted motor vehicle theft, burglary to vehicle -- 500 block of East Main Street. A suspect was arrested for attempted motor vehicle theft and burglary to vehicle and taken into custody.

6:25 p.m. Disorderly conduct -- 200 block of Freedom Drive. Jamesetta Taylor, 29, was arrested for disorderly conduct and taken into custody.

6:57 p.m. Traffic stop, aggravated unlawful use of a weapon, no FOID -- 1100 block of Hecker. Two subjects were arrested for no FOID and unlawful use of a weapon. Both were taken into custody.

8:22 p.m. Counterfeit currency, arrest -- 500 block of Benton. A suspect was arrested for counterfeit bills and taken into custody.

9:02 p.m. Retail theft -- K-Mart, 7230 Westfield Plaza. Carly Toenjes, 18, was arrested for retail theft and taken into custody.

11:46 p.m. Criminal damage to property -- Walmart, 2601 Green Mount Commons. The victim reported observing the acquintance/suspect damage his vehicle while it was parked in the parking lot.

FRIDAY, JUNE 7

12:32 a.m. Park regulation violation -- Citizen's Park, 341 Citizen Park. Thaer Madani, 24, was arrested for riding a motorized scooter in the park and taken into custody.

1:03 a.m. Misuse of 911 -- 400 block of Forest. Debra Benesh, 47, was arrested for misuse of 911 and taken into custody.

4:58 a.m. Burglary to vehicle -- 400 block of Kansas. The victim reported his unlocked vehicles had been entered and property was stolen.

8:53 a.m. Burglary to vehicle -- 900 block of North Church Street. The victim reported property ws stolen from the bed of his pickup truck.

10:24 a.m. Telephone harassment -- First block of North Douglas. Schyler Poole, 26, was arrested for telephone harassment.

10:34 a.m. Residential burglary -- 3300 block of West A Street. The victim reported her residence had been entered and property was stolen.

11:17 a.m. Criminal damage to property -- 1100 block of North 39th Street. The victim reported a brick was thrown through the window of his vehicle.

6:26 p.m. Disorderly conduct -- First block of Hillside Lane. Devonte Taylor, 19, was arrested for disorderly conduct and was taken into custody.

7:07 p.m. Retail theft -- All About Eyes, 5650 Belleville Crossing. The manager reported merchandise had been stolen.

9:56 p.m. Retail theft -- Shop 'N Save, 800 Carlyle Ave. Lamond D. Lampkin, 54, was arrested for retail theft and taken into custody.

10:25 p.m. Disorderly conduct -- 300 block of North 11th Street. Carla O'Neal, 41, was arrested for disorderly conduct and taken into custody.

11:38 p.m. Theft -- Big Daddy's, 313 E. Main St. Two victims reported their cellphones had been stolen. A suspect was located, arrested and taken into custody.

SATURDAY, JUNE 8

2:14 a.m. Traffic accident, driving under the influence -- Mascoutah at McClintock. Michael S. Hooper, 41, was arrested for driving under the influence and taken into custody.

10:58 a.m. Theft over -- Bel Clair Fairgrounds, 200 South Belt East. The victim reported the tailgate to her truck was stolen while it was parked on the parking lot.

11:02 a.m. Burglary -- Country Club Plaza, 5720 North Belt West. The victim reported a construction trailer was broken into and property was stolen.

12:29 p.m. Fraud -- 1900 block of Hawksbill. The elderly victim reported receiving a call from a subject claiming to be her grandson asking for money. The victim sent the money on two occasions.

12:40 p.m. Battery -- 200 Block of Freedom Drive. Ricky Jenkins, 27, was arrested for battery and taken into custody.

1:37 p.m. Residential burglary -- 9500 block of West Main Street. The reporting party stated the victim's residence had been entered and property was stolen.

9:32 p.m. Pedestrian under the influence -- South Charles at East Garfield. Thomas Kovach, 41, was arrested for pedestrian under the influence and taken into custody.

11:40 p.m. Theft, under -- 700 block of Wabash. The vitim reported the roommate/suspect took his property without his permission.

SUNDAY, JUNE 9

12:30 a.m. Arson -- 300 block of West H Street. The Belleville Fire Department extinguished a garage fire that was determined to have been intentionally set.

12:40 a.m. Traffic stop, possession of cannabis -- Illinois 161 at North Belt West. Cornelius O. Bonner, 27, was arrested for possession of cannabis and taken into custody.

1:54 p.m. Motor vehicle theft -- 800 block of Mascoutah Avenue. The victim reported his 1964 Cadillac Deville was stolen.

11:17 a.m. Retail theft -- K-Mart, 7230 Westfield Plaza. Charlotte Morris, 58, and Rasheedah Butler, 32, was arrested for retail theft and taken into custody.

11:53 a.m. Suspicious subject -- 700 block of South Belt West. The victim stated she was walking in the area with younger relatives and was approached by an older male driving a maroon "sports van." The male made comments regarding the younger relatives and her. He circled the area and attempted to make contact.

1:20 p.m. Retail theft -- K-Mart, 7230 Westfield Plaza. Alexander Singletary, 40, was arrested for retail theft and taken into custody.

6:06 p.m. Criminal damage to property -- 800 block of Olive. The victim reported her vehicle was damaged.

6:06 p.m. Criminal damage to property -- 800 block of Olive. A report was made of a 2013 Nissan Rouge that had been damaged.

7:14 p.m. Theft -- 200 block of North Eighth Street. The victim reported an awning was stolen from her yard.

9:36 p.m. Traffic stop, possession of cannabis -- Patterson Court at Mascoutah Avenue. The driver/suspect was arrested for possession of cannabis and taken into custody.

10:24 p.m. Violation of curfew, improper supervision of a child -- North Sixth Street and West D Street. Four juveniles were taken into custody for violation of curfew. Nicole Knowlen, 43, was arrested for improper supervision of a child.

MONDAY, JUNE 10

2:33 a.m. Attempted vehicle theft -- 7900 block of West A Street. The victim reported the attempted theft of her 1998 Chrysler Sebring.

3:59 a.m. Residential burglary -- First block of Arapaho Drive. The victim reported her residence was entered and property was stolen.

6:02 a.m. Burglary to vehicle -- 9900 block of Olympia. The victim reported a window was broken out and his vehicle was rummaged through.

6:37 a.m. Burglary to vehicle -- First block of North 82nd Street. The victim reported the driver's window was broken out and his vehicle was ransacked.

7:38 a.m. Burglary to vehicle -- First block of Granvue. The victim reported entry was forced to her vehicle and the vehicle was ransacked.

8:50 a.m. Motor vehicle theft -- 9800 block of Olympia. The victim reported her 2000 Dodge Intrepid was stolen.

9:04 a.m. Burglary to vehicle -- First block of North 98th Street. The victim reported his driver's side window was damaged to gain entry to his vehicle.

9:20 a.m. Burglary to vehicle -- First block of Glenview. The victim reported the driver's side window was broken out of her vehicle and property was stolen.

10:14 a.m. Burglary to vehicle -- 200 block of East Main Street. The victim reported her unlocked vehicle was entered and property was stolen.

5:22 p.m. Burglary to vehicle -- First block of North Douglas Street. The victim reported her unsecured vehicle was entered and property was stolen.

6:59 p.m. Retail theft -- Walmart, 2601 Green Mount Commons. The suspect was arrested for retail theft and taken into custody.

7:16 p.m. Residential burglary -- 800 block of East McKinley. The victim reported forced entry to his residence and property was stolen.

7:24 p.m. Pedestrian check, possession of cannabis, warrant arrest -- Mascoutah Avenue and Green Mount Lane. Shon C. House, 40, was arrested for possession of cannabis and an acitve warrant. He was taken into custody.

7:35 p.m. Domestic battery -- 4000 block of Memorial Drive. The suspect was arrested for domestic battery and taken into custody.

10:41 p.m. Aggravated assault -- Super 8 Motel, 600 E. Main St. The victim reported the suspect attempted to strike him with a vehicle. The victim signed a nontraffic citation for aggravated assault.

10:42 p.m. Attempted motor vehicle theft -- 100 block of North 39th Street. The victim reported a white male suspect attempted to steal a 2002 Dodge Ram.

10:46 p.m. Battery -- Citizens Park, 341 Citizens Park. Tyler S. Basye, 28, was arrested for battery and taken into custody.

TUESDAY, JUNE 11

12:34 a.m. Domestic battery -- 9500 block of West Main Street. The suspect was arrested for domestic battery and taken into custody.

2:01 a.m. Criminal damage to property -- 800 block of East McKinley. William B. Angelo, 27, was arrested for criminal damage to a vehicle and taken into custody.

3:04 a.m. Aggravated fleeing and eluding -- South Illinois Street. Officers attempted to conduct a traffic stop on a vehicle driving suspiciously. The vehicle refused to stop. The license plates were later discovered to have been stolen out of University City, Mo.

8:43 a.m. Criminal damage to property, theft -- Davinroy Mechanical Contractor, Inc., 44 Empire Drive. The victim reported a chain-link fence was cut and a license plate was stolen off a trailer.

9:59 a.m. Burglary to vehicle -- 300 block of Wabash Avenue. The victim reported windows to two of his vehicles were broken out and property was stolen.

2:16 p.m. Burglary to vehicle, unlawful use of a credit card -- YMCA, 200 S. Illinois St. The victim reported a window was broken out on her vehicle and property was stolen. She also stated a credit card that was stolen had been used in Belleville, Alorton, East St. Louis and Sauget.

3:14 p.m. Theft over $500 -- Shim & Company CPA, 1600 Lebanon Ave. The victim reported a bronze statue had been stolen from the business.

3:18 p.m. Traffic stop, aggravated unlawful use of a weapon -- 700 block of Wabash Ave. The suspect was arrested for aggravated unlawful use of a weapon and taken into custody.
