Belleville blotter: Teens arrested after starting fights at skate park

— The following report appeared in the most recently released crime blotter by the Belleville Police Department:

Thursday

7:28 p.m. MOB ACTION/BATTERY/IMPROPER SUPERVISION OF CHILD - Skate Park, 709 N. 2nd St. Witnesses reported 15-20 juveniles arrived at the park trying to start fights. The victim reported being battered at the park. The juveniles fled on foot as officers arrived on scene. Four juveniles were apprehended and taken into custody. All four were released to their respective guardians, who were issued citations for improper supervision of a child.
