Belleville police

WEDNESDAY, JUNE 12

9:37 a.m. Domestic battery -- First block of Elm Street. The suspect was arrested for domestic battery and taken into custody.

3:10 p.m. Domestic battery -- BPD parking lot, 101 S. Illinois St. The suspect was arrested for domestic battery and taken into custody.

6:25 p.m. Retail theft -- Walmart, 2601 Green Mount Commons. Loss prevention employees reported two subjects stole merchandise.

8:07 p.m. Battery -- 85th and West Main streets. The victim reports being battered by a male he has had a previous encounter with.

8:19 p.m. Criminal damage to property, threats -- 200 block of North 12th Street. The victim reported property on the front porch was damaged and a note containing threats was attached to his door.

10:51 p.m. Pedestrian check, arrest -- 100 block of North High. Robert D. Judy, 59, was arrested on an outstanding nontraffic citation for violation of a no stalking/no contact and taken into custody.

THURSDAY, JUNE 13

12:45 a.m. Battery -- Club Escapade, 201 W. Main St. Ryan Jefferies, 31, was arrested for battery and taken into custody.

2 a.m. Pedestrian under the influence -- 500 block of South 29th Street. Crystal Stoving, 36, was arrested for pedestrian under the influence and taken into custody.

3:12 p.m. Retail theft -- Walmart, 2601 Green Mount Commons. Two subjects were arrested for retail theft. Both were taken into custody.

7:28 p.m. Mob action, battery, improper supervision of a child -- Skate Park, 709 N. Second St. Witnesses reported 15 to 20 juveniles arrived at the parking trying to start fights. The victim reported being battered at the park. The juveniles fled on foot as officers arrived on scene. Four juveniles were apprehended and taken into custody. All four were released to their respective guardians, who were issued nontraffic citations for improper supervision of a child.

10:03 p.m. Theft of mislaid property -- Walmart, 2601 Green Mount Commons. The victim reported he left his wallet at a checkout counter at the store. When he returned, the wallet could not be located.

friday, june 14

Gregory M. Johnson, 28, of 1701 Williams St., Cahokia, arrested on suspicion of aggravated domestic battery and domestic battery with physical contact on or about June 10 by St. Clair County sheriff. Johnson allegedly made physicl contact with Joann E. Baxton, a family/household member, in that he grabbed her by the throat with his hands and applied pressure, thereby impeding airflow; and he pushed her to the ground with his hand.

Donnell C. Cason, 18, of 302 St. Leonard Drive, Cahokia, arrested on suspicion of forgery on or about June 10 by Cahokia police. Cason allegedly, with the intent to defraud, knowingly delivered to Regions Bank, 900 Upper Cahokia Road, Cahokia, a document apparently capable of defrauding another, in that it was purported to have been made by another, Phyllis Schuetz, being a check, of Rev. James N. Schuetz and Phyllis J. Schuetz drawn on Scott Credit Union, Millstadt, dated June 10, payable to Donnell Cason in the amount of $125 and signed as drawer Phyllis Schuetz, knowing the document to have been thus made.

Timothy L. Williams, 42, of 231 Smith Court B, Alorton, arrested on suspicion of two counts of aggravated fleeing or attempting to elude a police officer and driving while driver's license is revoked, subsequent on or about June 11 by Cahokia police. Williams allegedly drove a green and silver 1998 GMC van, and was given a visual signal by a police officer, Gary Craig, who was in police uniform and driving a vehicle that displayed illuminated, oscillating, rotating or flashing red or blue lights, which when used in conjunction with an audible horn or siren, would indicate the vehicle to be an official police vehicle, directing the defendant to bring said green and silver 1998 GMC van to a stop, willfully fled or attempted to elude the police officer and that when willfully fleeing or attempting to elude the police officer, the defendant traveled at a rate of speed of 21 mph over the legal speed limit and disobeyed two or more traffic control devices, being stop lights; and drove a green and silver 1998 GMC van on Mississippi Avenue in Cahokia at a time when defendant's driver's license was revoked; and defendant had been previously convicted of driving while license is revoked on Aug. 30.

Akeem A. Haynes, 29, of 5968 Park Place, East St. Louis, arrested on suspicion of unlawful possession of a controlled substance on or about June 11 by East St. Louis police. Haynes allegedly had in his possession less than 15 grams of a substance containing cocaine.

Demarlos Rush, 40, of 1165 Lilac Drive, Belleville, arrested on suspicion of criminal damage to property on or about June 12 by Belleville police. Rush allegedly damaged property of Neko Armstrong, being a motor vehicle, a maroon 2010 Chevrolet Camaro, 500 N. First St., Belleville, without Armstrong's consent, said damage in excess of $300.

Tishod A. Gibbs, 36, of 1324 Richard Drive, Cahokia, arrested on suspicion of two counts of unlawful delivery of a controlled substance and unlawful possession with the intent to deliver a controlled substance on or about June 5 by St. Clair County sheriff. Gibbs allegedly delivered to a confidential source less than 1 gram of a substance containing cocaine; and possessed with the intent to deliver less than 1 gram of a substance containing cocaine.

Carl Box Jr., 46, of 1340 Kingshighway, East St. Louis, arrested on suspicion of aggravated driving under the influence and driving on revoked license on or about April 23 by Illinois State Police. Box allegedly drove a Chevrolet Blazer on Interstate 64 in St. Clair County while the defendant was under the influence of alcohol and during a period in which the defendant's driving privileges were revoked.

Justin A. Tucker, 26, of 117 St. James Drive, Cahokia, arrested on suspicion of aggravated fleeing and attempting to elude a police officer on or about May 15 by Cahokia police. Tucker allegedly drove a purple Chevrolet Caprice and was given a visual signal by a police officer, Kyle Waddington, who was in police uniform and driving a vehicle that displayed illuminated, oscillating, rotating or flashing red or blue lights, which when used in conjunction with an audible horn or siren, would indicate the vehicle to be an official police vehicle, directing the defendant to bring said purple Chevrolet Caprice to a stop, willfully fled or attempted to elude the police officer and than when willfully fleeing or attempting to elude the police officer, the defendant traveled at a rate of spped of 21 mph over the legal speed limit.

Dominic R. Hood, 18, of 121 Hillwood Drive, Belleville, arrested on suspicion of three counts of criminal sexual assault, felony; attempted aggravated criminal sexual assault; three counts of criminal sexual assault by force; and aggravated robbery on or about Jan. 29 by Illinois State Police. Hood allegedly committed an act of sexual assault with a female by the threat of force; attempted aggravated criminal sexual assault with a female; three counts of criminal sexual assault by force with a female; and aggravated robbery, indicating he had a firearm, knowingly took property, being U.S. currency, by threatening the imminent use of force.
