Caseyville man charged in armed robbery; second suspect sought in case

A Caseyville man has been charged following an armed robbery on Monday.

Dustin C. Diser, 18, of the 100 block of Acordi Drive, was charged by the St. Clair County State's Attorney's office late Wednesday with aggravated robbery and unlawful possession of cannabis. His bond was set at $100,000.

The victim of the robbery reported that two suspects held him up at gunpoint Monday in the 600 block of South Main Street and took $500 in cash from him. The men then fled on foot.

Police did not say if they are close to an arrest of the second suspect.
