St. Clair County Jail inmates charged with attempting to escape

Four St. Clair County Jail inmates have been charged with trying to escape from custody, according to county records.

Deagelo Wiley, a 19 year old from Centreville who is being held on a charge of first degree murder; Devin Warren, a 19 year old from Madison who is being held on a felony charge of distributing a substance that looked like an illegal drug; Joshua Baker, a 27 year old from Central Point, Ore. who was being held on felony charges of possession of methamphetamine and unlawful use of a weapon and Daniel Brown, a 34 year old from Temple, Penn. being held on methamphetamine manufacturing and possession as well as child endangerment are the men accused of trying to break out of jail. They allegedly planned to make their exit through an opening they made in the ceiling of one of the jail housing units.

All four men were charged by the St. Clair County State's Attorney's Office with attempted escape.
