Police have identified the second suspect in a Caseyville armed robbery that happened earlier this week.

The suspect is a 15 year old juvenile whose name cannot be released because of his age, according to police department spokesman officer Gerard Spratt.

An application for charges against the juvenile suspect has been submitted to the St. Clair County State's Attorney's office and formal charges could be coming as soon as Friday.

The robbery happened about 10:30 p.m. Monday in the 600 block of South Main Street. The victim told police two males held him up at gunpoint and robbed him of $500 cash before fleeing on foot.

Charges were announced Thursday against the other suspect, Dustin Diser, 18, who lives in the 100 block of Acordi Drive. He faces counts of aggravated robbery and unlawful possession of cannabis.

As of late Thursday he was in custody at the St. Clair County Jail with bond set at $100,000.
