Patricia Mary Sholl, nee DAmato, of OFallon, born January 18, 1935 in St. Louis, Mo., passed away peacefully on Thursday evening, June 20, 2013, at her home, surrounded by those who loved her.
Pat was a loving and devoted wife and mother. She and her late husband Rudy had co-owned the State Street Thrift Store in downtown OFallon from 1983-93. She was dedicated to her husband and sons, and held a deep devotion to her faith and commitment to God.
Pat was a 1952 graduate of St. Teresa Academy, in E. St. Louis. She was a long-time faith-filled parishioner at St. Clare Catholic Church, where she was a committed and active member of the St. Clare Seniors and Altar Sodality. Pat contributed to the community through her membership and volunteering at church, as well as with the OFallon Senior Citizens Club and Knights of Columbus Ladies Auxiliary.
Pat was preceded in death by her dear husband, Rudolph Sholl, whom she married October 19, 1957 at St Martin of Tours Catholic Church, in East St. Louis, and died November 18, 1998; her parents Armando and Catherine, nee Colmo, DAmato; and her brother James DAmato.
Surviving are her three sons, Scot Sholl of Fairview Heights, Ill., Craig (fiance June) Sholl of Pearland, Tex., and Philip (Melissa) Sholl, of Edwardsville, Ill., two grandsons, Spencer and Trent Sholl; and her brother Charles DAmato of Indianapolis, Ind.

Visitation: Friends may call from 2:00 6:00 p.m., Sunday, June 23, 2013 at Wolfersberger Funeral Home, 102 W. Washington St., OFallon, and again from 9:00 9:45 a.m., Monday, June 24, 2013 at the funeral home. The OFallon Senior Citizens will conduct a walk-through service at 5 p.m., Sunday, at the funeral home.
Funeral: Procession will depart the funeral home at 9:45 a.m., Monday, June 24, 2013, for a Mass of Christian Burial to begin at 10:00 a.m., at St. Clare Catholic Church, Shiloh, Ill., with Rev. James Deiters, presiding. Interment will follow at Mount Calvary Catholic Cemetery, Shiloh, Ill.
