Trayvon Martin didn't deserve to die

June 21, 2013

There was another letter in the paper on June 16, James Price agreeing with Jim Walters that Trayvon Martin got what he deserved. I'm sure they are not the only ones.

I don't understand why they feel that he got it. He was not doing anything that would have been considered bad, and he gets shot down in cold blood. Why is that what he deserved, because he was black? Because he dressed differently than others? He didn't have a gun, he was just walking from a convenience store, and without saying anything he was shot down.

George Zimmerman had no cause to Shoot Martin. Zimmerman should be in trouble the way he is. Just because someone dresses or talks differently or is a different color does not mean he deserves to get shot down.
